English Transferware Platter Queen of Sheba

Description : 200 year old antique platter is exceptional. The platter is large at 20 5/8x16 1/4" and features a woman with servants holding an umbrella over her head and a castle in the background. Research dates this to first period 1820-1830. Condition is extraordinary with no cracks or chips and no crazing. There are a few utensil marks on the surface but otherwise a fine example of early 19th century earthenware. This would be a great platter to use with a wooden base for a tea table.
